What do we believe?
Our primary message is
evangelism, preaching Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
We agree with the Apostle Paul when he said of
non-essential doctrines; "...let every man be fully persuaded in his own
mind..." (Rom. 14:5). Obviously, we do hold to the essential points of
doctrine which have unified the Body of Christ over the years. Specific
highlights include agreement that the Bible is God's inerrant, eternal Word (Isa.
40:8). Eternal life with God is a free gift for those who have committed
themselves, repented and trusted by faith, the Lord Jesus Christ for the removal
of their personal sins. We hold to the tri-unity of the nature of God as
revealed in the Bible, believing that God was in Christ reconciling the world
unto Himself by the power of the Holy Spirit (2 Cor. 5:19). We believe in
good works as a result of a life transformed by God rather than a means of
salvation (Eph. 2:8-9). And finally, we believe that the true
"church" is not an organization, but is a "living organism"
consisting of all of the ecclesia (called out believers) who make up the Body of
Christ.
